NBCC (INDIA) TO DEVELOP ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY WITH 250 BED HOSPITAL IN GOA
NBCC (India) Ltd., a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of AYUSH for the construction of a 250-bed Ayurveda and Naturopathy hospital in Goa. The proposed cost is Rs 267.81 crore.
The MoU was signed between Shri Yogesh Sharma, Executive Director, NBCC and Dr. Tanuja Manoj Nesari, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Ministry of AYUSH.
Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of Ayush, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik had recently laid the foundation stone.
The institute will be spread over an area of 50 acres to offer UG, PG and Ph.D. degree to 500 students every year.

Increasing use of pesticides causes Pancreatitis: Vaidya Balendu Prakash
A research done by Vaidya Balendu Prakash revealed the accelerated uses of pesticides have flared the number of incidences of Pancreatitis. He further endorses the cure of Pancreatitis through Ayurveda. A drug composed of Copper, Mercury, Sulphur and many of herbal constituents. It is claimed to be safe as per the guidelines and standards of World Health Organization (WHO).
He runs his research center in Dehradun. Patients from USA, Australia, Japan, Scotland, Nepal, Bangladesh and Kenya have been treated successfully. Out of 620 patients approached to him, 319 patients have been completely cured without any highlighted undesired effect.

Spain Removes Alternative Medicines from Health Centers
The Guardian of 14th November reports that the Spanish government has already announced plans to remove alternative medicine such as acupuncture or homeopathy from their health centers. According to government statement the step is initiated to avoid “potential harmful effects”.
