Abstract: Background: Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a common gastroenterological problem, multifactorial in nature. Individuals’ well beings are affected by various complications as results of reflux of stomach contents. Due to upward movement of undigested food materials, it is also called as Urdhwaga Amlapitta in Ayurveda.Materials and Methods: In a pre-post treatment study design, lavanbhaskar churna was clinically evaluated on 23 patients between age of 18 to 64 years.
