Abstract: Background: Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world including governance and administration. It has touched health, finance, security, justice and almost all other possible sectors. Its approach has widened from perception and cognition to decision-making. Medical science is using this for multidimensional purposes for improving the efficiency, quality and safety with balue-added services. Ayurveda also have greater scope for utilization for Artificial Intelligence in generalization of fundamental concepts and, using these concepts in treatment and care. Standardized operating procedure development, a need of Ayurveda can be developed using AI.
Components of Artificial Intelligence: The components of AI include computational portion, Algorithm portion and Implementation portion. Computational portion is involved with collection, analysis, interpretation, indexing and cataloguing of data while Algorithm portion uses cause and effect relationship of these data for practical uses. Implementation portion uses multiple platforms actionable portion based on maximum possible concerned factors.
Generalization of Ayurvedic Concepts: Artificial intelligence uses artificial neural networks to extract patterns for prediction from large data sets. Data of Ayurvedic concepts in relation to the genes and their relation with metabolism and physiology are primary source for generalization of concepts like Prakriti, Ojas etc. Only minute description are needed to be explained.
Conclusion: Rational understanding of those outcomes in views of practical implications are essential for using AI. Individual views are not counted, but a coherent approach is mandatory for generalization of concepts. This is in core of scientific basis of ayurvedic concepts.
